Monaghan is one of the largest mushroom suppliers in the world, supplying five out of the world’s top 10 grocery retailers. It acts as a trusted advisor to global retailers on the latest research and innovation trends.
Its founder, Ronnie Wilson, has been a visionary in realising the true potential of mushrooms. MBio was born out of his passion and belief. Now we’re a team of over 50, including 40 scientists, with one common goal – to harness the power of nature for consumers’ health and wellbeing.

What We Do
Our understanding of the mushroom has led to the discovery of a fully natural process that encourages it to produce a higher concentration of vitamins D and B12. First our mushrooms are grown, then harvested by hand. Then, through a gentle, non-invasive process, the mushrooms are dried. The result is a totally clean label, fully traceable, wholefood vegan source of nutrients, vitamins and minerals that transforms the foods consumers eat.
